Mark your calendars for a wonderful celebration over Labor Day weekend. Events include a parade ( Parade entry ), entertainment for all four days, car show (registration form), a quilt show (entry form),  presentations and numerous contests including a Rock, Paper, Scissors game and a cake baking contest (Cake Baking Rules & Registration). More details are coming soon – if you’d like to volunteer or have an activity please contact the Main Street Program or the Chamber of Commerce.

Penguin Productions presents “Distracted” a play by Lisa Loomer, April 29, 30 and May 6 & 7 at 7:00 at the L.D.Fargo Library in Lake Mills. A comedy that looks at the struggles of parents with kids who may or may not have ADHD. Adult language. Suggested donation $10, seating is limited.

Ladies
 
Registered ladies will receive a cute reusable bag, warm fuzzy gloves and more. The bag will be filled with coupons and other goodies. Registration is limited, so register early. The bags will be available for pick up from 9:30 to 1:00 at the Municipal Building, 200 Water Street, on the day of the event.

You are invited to the January 22, 2011 Winter Series event organized by the Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills.This is the second year of our organization’s contribution to the community whereby we offer a free evening of the finest entertainment and lively community spirit.

Kathy Daly-Bond and Daughters bring a family focus to the line-up
Cheryl Kirking is a talented singer and story teller with a dose of humor
Margot Peters and Steve Bower represent the Arts Alliance Board as they read poetry
The finale–as always–is the audience sing-a-long accompanied by Linda Disch

The time is 7 PM sharp.The venue is our own Fargo Library.
Performance is on the second floor–please enter from the side door.  An elevator is available.Refreshments will be served.
